Just Today

3 homeowners in our school district were served with notice of sheriff sale.  I think Kevin should take them Thanksgiving dinner and cheer them up by reminding them we have "the lowest school taxes in Hennepin County."

  1. Posts like this are sure to boost your credibility as a school board watchdog. You sound like a sore loser. Keep it up.

  2. You mean we don't have the lowest school taxes in Hennepin County??

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't consider myself a loser. I have all the credibility I need, because I can still look at myself in the mirror and not have to wonder what price I will pay down the line for spilling my integrity today........

  4. Mr Mailey,

You do have a smart mouth on you. Please never stop using it on these union thugs, rubberstampers and borg apologists. As another poster commented, they sure have a set coming in here and ranting at you. Keep exposing them. Keep the heat on. Even a dog infested with ticks and fleas for years can eventully be cured. I have been in this community over 25 years and I assure you have a lot of credibility among a lot of folks who had not even heard of you 6 months ago. Fight the fight jarhead.

  6. Dude, do you think the machine cares about people as long as it gets its money fix? They could give a crap less as long as they get to remodel their offices. Too bad you can't buff a turd Borg no matter how much money you burn. You will always suck hind tit to Orono in the classroom as long as you are the ringleader.

  8. Shame on me? Here is what is a shame Part I:

    1. The Legal Notice that was put in multiple times in the official publication, the Laker Newspaper, was not correct. The "Legal Notice" stated that the public would be voting for up to three (3) school board candidates. As we all know, there were four (4) positions open for election. It is hard to predict what effect this would have had on the election; however, it is certain that the legal notice was definitely not correct which puts the entire election into question.
    2. An elderly gray haired male election judge at the Mount Olive Church told numerous people that they were to vote for four (4) school board candidates and that a vote for question #1 (Levy Question) would not affect ones taxes. As you know, it is inappropriate for an election judge to offer any advice on how to vote, furthermore, by telling people to vote for four (4) school board members it diminished our chances for success in the election. By telling people that their taxes would not be affected by voting for the Levy increased the likelihood of its passage. I had six people call me reporting this activity. One of them spoke with their neighbors and found that all of them were given the "directions" from the election judge. We have a signed and notarized affidavit from one voter and can easily get it from numerous voters.
    3. The school district presented false costs to the public regarding the costs of the Levy and Bond. We were told in a district advertisement that the Levy had no Tax Impact on the voter. We were also never told the higher 3rd year to the 15 year cost of the first Bond Question. My wife even went so far as to ask Ehlers for this information and was denied it. So much for having an informed electorate.
    4. The "Yes" group help their organizational meetings in the Little Theatre at the High School. No rent payments were indicated on the "Yes" group's earlier financials.
    5. The "Yes" group was given access to participate in the Homecoming parade. A car with "Yes" banners as well as a number of students with red "Yes" shirts was one of the units in the parade.
    6. Dave Botts was given access to the district's email list of all school patrons. I asked for this list on multiple occasions and it was never furnished to me by the school district.
    7. District property was used for the display of vote "Yes" signs. This occurred at Bruce Miller park in Mound at northeast quadrant of CR 110 and CR 44.
    8. The district's robo calling machine was used to relay a message from Supt. Kevin Borg to parents of school children to get out and vote. This is an inappropriate use of district equipment.

  9. Part II:

    9. Voters were told that if the Levy did not pass on the ballot that $1.64 million would need to be cut from the budget which was equivalent to 33 teaching positions. This was not true since if the Levy did not pass on the ballot that the district had next year to put it up for election as well since the Levy did not expire until 2012. Furthermore, if the Levy did not pass on the second attempt, it is certain that the budget would not be reconciled by cutting 33 teachers. This technique was used to make the public fearful.
    10. Bob Kuehl's class was escorted over the to the district office in order to allow those students over 18 to vote in the election. A student in his class room the next day reported seeing a column of three "yes" words with a check in front of them on his white board. Was Mr. Kuehl coaching the voters prior to escorting them over the day prior?
    11. A person voting at 1:30 pm at the Educational Service Center observed the absentee ballots left unattended in the small conference room.
    12. The "Yes" group was granted access to all the school buildings including mechanical rooms in order to film their misleading video. Why were they give access to the facilities. Does the district allow anyone who wants to shoot a video the full run of the facilities.
    13. The School District sent out multiple mailings in an effort to solicit support for the school. The last mailing included on entire side of the full color postcard that was devoted to the success of a school board candidate's daughter. This is ridiculous.
    14. Cars and SUVs with large "Yes" signs were parked in the lot of both the Educational Service Center and the Mount Olive Church while the election was taking place. Signs are not supposed to be allowed within 100 feet of a poling place on election day.
    15. David Bond was at the educational service center and tried to persuade a lady voting absentee to vote yes and also vote for him.
    16. David Bond had a "Yes" sign on a pole in the bed of his pickup truck parked at the Early Childhood Family Education Center during the day of the election. Signs encouraging the passage of a vote are not to be allowed on district facilities.

I played by the rules....I did nothing to desecrate our Constitution.

  10. Four [4] more friends and neighbors in Westonka district received their Notice of Sheriff Sale just yesterday, 11/29/2011.

Again, I was/am in favor of fixing what needs to be fixed, but every cent must be accounted for and every cent must be spent effectively!

    Why the U.S. was downgraded:

    • U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
    • Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
    • New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
    • National debt: $14,271,000,000,000
    • Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000

Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:

    • Annual family income: $21,700
    • Money the family spent: $38,200
    • New debt on the credit card: $16,500
    • Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
    • Total budget cuts: $385

    Got It ?????
