To party on the taxpayers' dime! Don't you love watching them hold up these vendors for your tax dollars?? Better yet, spending those dollars on a big old staff party at the Lafayette Club......the Lafayette Club that is managed by the spouse of one of the board members? I'm just a lowly taxpayer, but shouldn't I get an invite?? Anyone else think this is just plain wrong any way you look at it??

This is alarming!!! For Ann Bremer to serve on the board and then have the Teacher Recognition Event be held at the Layfayette Club year after year is a conflict of interest and should be against district policy and state law. For these school district vendors to contribute to this "Recognigtion Event" is a joke as well, since they should reduce the fees they charge the district rather than charge more and give back to this self serving event. Certainly the teachers can afford to pay for thier own dinner after getting significant pay increases every year like clockwork. I think the public should have a revolution.
ReplyDeleteIt's a joke to be sure, but not half the joke of allowing bork to "negotiate" with the teachers' union so he can give his old lady a great big fat raise. Say, isn't his raise tied to the teachers' contract? Niiiiiiiiice.....

The irony here is that while these buffoons cut, cut, cut and the students have to sell pencils in the streets like urchins in Tijuana everytime they need something, old Pork Barrel Botts n Borg just do a money grab on the vendors anytime they want to throw a little party. Just think what is going on with all this cash that we don't know about.
