The referendum on November 8, will pass or fail no matter how the board candidates vote. Are we so polarized as a community, this is all we can focus on? 95+% of us agree something needs to be done to our facilities; that is a given. However, are we in such a hurry to do something/anything we lose sight of the broad picture.
When I vote on November 8; for board candidates, my thoughts will be on selecting the best candidates to come in next January, and work with either a passed referendum or failed referendum. If the referendum passes, someone to make sure the proceeds from the bond sale are maximized for the good of the district. If the referendum fails, someone who is capable of framing the next attempt to be successful.
