Kevin Borg sat in front of the cameras and promised an outside investigation of all the things that went terribly wrong on Friday, February 22, 2013. Now, the word on the street, is that he is using the district's own general counsel to conduct this investigation. If true, this is yet another example of his appalling mismanagement of the truth and lack of leadership in running our school district. Here is Kevin Borg's direct quote:
At the meeting, Borg said he would be talking with a third party on Feb. 26 carry out an investigation on the incident.
“Due to the concerns raised an outside investigation will be conducted and an investigation report will be provided to the board,” he [Kevin Borg] said. “How the incident was evaluated will be reviewed as well as the timeline involved in making the decision and the consequences assigned.”
Using what amount's to an entity's in house counsel is not an outside investigation!
I'm not sure which is dumber? Borg for lying on the record while being recorded or the community who just doesn't seem to give a damn?
