This Guy Is a Career Law Enforcement Official

Wouldn't you think he would have greater respect for facts, details and accurate prose?  Not sure I'd want him taking an incident report on anything involving myself or my family.  Let's examine what's wrong with this picture:

Bullet point one: How did Mr. Vanderlinde "negotiate" with anyone for a reverse-osmosis system, when that type of system was never approved by the residents of Minnetrista?  Were they just practicing their negotiating skills?  A little hard to negotiate without approved funding, isn't it?  32 emails would be quite a "negotiation!"  Why aren't these 32 emails of "negotiation" on your web site?

Bullet point two: So an ardent Lisa Whalen supporter--with half the facts--who also blames Mr. Vanderlinde for a new development in his neighborhood; shows up five years after the fact in an election year to disrupt a city council meeting over what amounted to a parking ticket?  Can you say, "childish political stunt?"  This is what you call a "hot topic?"  It's not exactly like screwing an entire community out of their right to vote on a mega-million dollar police station now is it?  I don't even see Mr. Vanderlinde's name in your "memo?"

Bullet point three: Irresponsible?  What else was he supposed to do?  Week after week after week after week, the same mis-informed few, showed up to disrupt a busy council with their inaccurate rants and threats to sue.  The council was busy trying to solve the serious water issue left behind so you could have your new police station.  Telling them to sue or shut up, was an extremely prudent thing thing to do in my opinion.

Bullet point four: He didn't advocate any such thing.  The city believed they needed to purchase a piece of useless property from the school district for a new water treatment facility.  The school board, was attempting to extort an unreasonable amount of money from the city for a 1/2 acre of useless, scrub wetland.  The SRO became a piece of that negotiation.  The city no longer needs the parcel, so the entire point became moot, yet the lie banner still flies!  Was Mr. Vandelinde; and the rest of the council, supposed to just buckle and give the school district everything they wanted?  I don't think so; this council, seems to be more committed to being stewards of our tax dollars than the old regime i.e. Lisa Whalen was.

  1. I smell Dave Kolb desperation. He gives police officers a bad name.

  2. Kolb is a very dirty cop! He should be fired from Champlin as he is big time dishonest. He apparently does not enjoy his commute to Champlin and wants to return to Minnetrista to be chief again. Good Luck!

  3. How much lower will the 32 group go with Dace Kolb?

  4. So weird that he's doing this. Any time he has to testify, any defense attorney worth his/her salt can paint him as known liar to the jury,
